Before you start reading, if you're not a Gossip Girl fan, then don't read this! :)
Hey everyone! I just want to share to you my experience at the Gossip Girl set last night, Novemer 30, 2011. I found out last week that they were going to film scenes at 70th street between Madison and 5th avenue. I didn't really plan to go because I had no clue who was going to be there. I suddenly thought, what if I'll meet my crush, Ed Westwick (aka Chuck Bass)? So then I went out and traveled from Queens to Manhattan! I arrived so early, maybe 12 ish p.m and when I got there, I didn't see anyone yet, no trucks, trailers or set! Yup! I was that early and it was really freezing cold outside! I decided to go to Barney's New York to take pictures of Lady Gaga's Workshop, then went to Rockefeller Center, Forever 21, H&M and St. Patrick's Cathedral. It was already 2:30 p.m when I decided to walk back to 71st street from 45th. By the time I got there, I saw a girl reading the Gossip Girl signs posted on the sides of the street, I asked her some questions and then I found company!haha! I made 3 friends on that day! We waited for a couple more hours when the cast started to arrive. First one was Leighton Meester, she was all smiles when she got out of the car. Then the next van came, and I was so shocked when I saw Ed Westwick sitting in front! I couldn't believe my crush was there!!!aaaaaah! I literally froze. My eyes were glued on him! He was smiling and posing like a kid with his two hands forming like a V.haha! I used my new DSLR camera to take pictures and I felt like a paparazzi the whole time! Maybe that's the reason why Blake Lively wasn't looking at me with a smile!LOL! Michelle Trachtenberg was also there. I didn't stay long because it was getting late and they were filming till midnight! I missed the wedding scene of Prince Louis and Blair! But I was able to take pictures of the car they used! It was really an unforgettable experience! All of the things in my bucket list came true! Dreams do come true and it all happened in this city! I always love saying this like how Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's said, “I love New York!”.
